algodtop
Monitoring for algod nodes: a top-style terminal UI, a daemon that keeps history, and a web UI. One binary, with no database or other service to run.
Install
go install algod.top/algodtop@latest
It needs Go 1.27 or later. go install algod.top@latest builds the same program under the name algod.top.
Start
algodtop # live view of the nodes on this machine algodtop daemon --discover # find local nodes, keep their history, serve the web UI algodtop service # start the daemon at login or boot
What it watches
- Rounds, round time, sync lag and catchup, from the local arrival time of every round.
- Peers and connection churn, with per-peer traffic where algod reports it.
- Participation keys, account status and vote activity, with alerts before a key expires.
- Process, disk and clock health, plus the error and warning lines in node.log.
- Local nodes, remote nodes over REST or SSH, and remote agents that buffer data while the hub is away.
